Impeccable performance on gravel, tarmac and ice

Rallying is in our blood. The very first job Alcon ever took on was to develop a braking system for Audi Sport’s formidable Group B Quattro back in 1983. And we’ve never looked back. Since then we have provided braking systems for rally cars at every level of the sport from grassroots to the World Rally Championship.

Like the sport itself, we never sit still. Our Research and Development teams are constantly working with clients to develop ever more powerful and durable braking systems specifically tailored to the characteristics of each rally, from tarmac where maximum braking force is required, to gravel where consistency of response and resistance to foreign object ingress are equally important considerations. Whatever level you are at, and whatever the terrain you are on, Alcon has the answer.

Did you know? In 2016, Sebastien Ogier won his third WRC title and Volkswagen won Manufacturers title, giving Alcon 18 driver’s championships and 15 manufacturer’s titles in the 20 years to 2016.
