Marking Vauxhall’s return to the hot hatch segment, the Corsa GSE combines 281PS (207kW) and 345Nm of torque with a 0–62mph time of just 5.5 seconds, making it the fastest-accelerating Vauxhall production model currently on sale.

The high-performance Corsa has been developed with a Nürburgring-tuned chassis, featuring uprated suspension and steering, wider tracks, a lower ride height and a Torsen® mechanical limited-slip differential to maximise traction and enhance handling.

Complementing these upgrades are Alcon four-piston front calipers and 355mm front discs, engineered to provide powerful and consistent braking performance, with excellent heat dissipation and resistance to brake fade.

The braking system is particularly important given the Corsa GSE’s performance capabilities and electric powertrain. In Sport mode, regenerative braking is disabled, providing 100% hydraulic brake performance for a more direct and engaging pedal feel.

The Corsa GSE is also equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S performance tyres as standard, further supporting its dynamic handling and braking capabilities.

Visually, the Corsa GSE combines its compact hot hatch proportions with a distinctive performance-focused design, including a GSE-specific front bumper and splitter, wider wheel arches, a rear spoiler and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The striking GSE yellow Alcon calipers provide a clear visual indication of the performance hardware beneath the wheels.

The new Corsa GSE is priced from £32,995, including the Electric Car Grant, with an official on-the-road price of £34,495.
