The 2011 promotional car is a highly-customized 1964 Pontiac GTO built for road racing, powered by a 700 horsepower GM LSX 454 V8 engine, and equipped with Alcon/Raybestos NASCAR-spec brakes. Alcon has been working closely with Raybestos, its long term technical and commercial partner in the supply of NASCAR brakes, on a 700BHP custom Pontiac GTO. 
At the 2012 Autosport International Engineering show, Alcon launched its ultimate performance CCX carbon ceramic brake kit for the Nissan GT-R.
Brabus, in partnership with Protean Electric, has unveiled full electric and hybrid vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class; featuring a unique Alcon brake concept.
