Citroen WRC Team Sets Yet More Records |

Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia scored their debut tarmac win, finishing just under 40 seconds ahead of team mates Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena. The result ensures that Citroen remains unbeaten in Rally Germany, and that the team has set two more new records in the sport. The win gives the DS3 WRC a record breaking eighth consecutive victory, while it is Citroen's 78th win in the FIA World Rally Championship - more than any other manufacturer. While the Rally Germany result went the way of Ogier, it is Loeb who remains at the top of the of the points table, with almost a rally victory score in hand. Alcon remains proud of its Citroen Racing Official Partner status, and of its long and successful history working with the manufacturer in the World Rally Championship. |



The Citroen Total World Rally Team has set yet more records in this year's Rally Germany with its mightily impressive third one-two finish of the 2011 season.
