Noble M600

Equipped with Alcon's high performance brake package the much anticipated Noble M600 recently earned bragging rights with the fourth fastest all time supercar lap on the Top Gear test track.

The M600 is defined by its impressive performance. The M600 goes from 0-60mph in 3.5sec and to 100mph in just 6.8sec, with a claimed top speed of 225mph. The 2756 lbs machine comes equipped with a Yamaha-sourced 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 and enough stopping power in the Alcon six-piston front calipers and four-piston rears to seamlessly transition from road to race conditions.

And what of the brakes? Apart from the system's lack of anti-lock, they're excellent, not just in their outright power but also for feel from high speeds. Noble MD Peter Boutwood had warned me that I probably wouldn't like the feel of the brake pedal initially.
